Anganwadi support

Anganwadis are crucial for the development of rural children, serving as centers for their overall well-being. Recognizing this, we regularly visit anganwadis to assess needs and provide essential amenities. Recently, we identified a need for toys in 16 villages to enhance children’s learning and joy. Distributing these toys benefited 172 children, bringing happiness and fostering development. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting children and their families in underserved communities.

Borewell Pump Installation

We believe every citizen deserves access to pure and safe drinking water. In remote villages like Garjewadi, Block Ghatnandre, where water scarcity was critical, we took immediate action. After assessing the situation, we installed a borewell pump to extract water from the village wells. This initiative benefited 550 residents, effectively solving their water problem. The villagers were delighted, and their gratitude inspires our continued commitment to addressing such challenges.

Drinking Water Tank

In the drought-prone village of Valsang, Jat division, water scarcity was a pressing issue. To address this, we provided three 2000-litre water tanks, offering sustainable solutions for drinking water and rainwater conservation. These tanks not only supplied clean water but also helped prevent floods in lower areas, benefiting both the community and the environment. This initiative positively impacted 7,979 villagers, ensuring better water availability and improved living conditions.

Check Dam Construction

We also constructed a check dam in Sawantwadi village, Block Shirala, District Sangli, where water scarcity for agriculture and drinking was a serious issue. After surveying the village, we planned the construction in February 2024, with support from the Sawantwadi Gram Panchayat. The check dam helps obstruct high water flow, prevents erosion, and is cost-effective compared to large dams. It supports irrigation and provides water for drinking, benefiting 1,500 villagers and solving their water problems for years. The villagers are very satisfied with the results.

Education Support

In the remote areas of Sangli, schools are vital for underprivileged children but often lack basic amenities like lighting, computers, printers, books, and furniture. Additionally, we provided a printer to Z.P. School in Ghatnadre, Kavathe Mahankal Block, supporting digital education and directly benefiting 280 students. These efforts enhance learning opportunities and promote sustainability in education.

These groups offer access to information on government schemes, enabling members to benefit from various programs. SHGs also provide skill training and support with low-interest loans to start small businesses, fostering entrepreneurship. This initiative empowers women to improve their livelihoods, contribute to their families, and build a more secure future.

Fertilizer Distribution

Agriculture is the backbone of our nation’s economy, with rural farmers playing a crucial role. However, many struggle to boost productivity in their fields. To support them, we provided Liquid Decomposer Fertilizer to 15 villages in Patan and Shirala Blocks, benefiting 580 farmers and promoting sustainable farming practices. This initiative enhances learning opportunities, provides valuable information, and promotes connectivity, contributing to the overall development of rural areas.

Tree Plantation

Trees are vital to our environment, providing oxygen and supporting life. However, deforestation due to urbanization and industrialization has led to global warming, pollution, and other environmental challenges.
