In FY 2023–24, a check dam in Sawantwadi was built by Suzlon Foundation Pune and Prerana Foundation Yedenipani. Earlier, the village faced severe water scarcity. After the project, water availability improved and irrigation became reliable. Farmers started growing more crops and increased their income. The project transformed the village into a water-secure community.

During the financial year 2023–24, solar power systems were installed in nine schools across the Ghatnandre, Gudhe, and Jath sites in response to requests from the local communities. These schools were facing frequent electricity supply interruptions, which affected regular academic activities.
The installation of solar systems ensured a reliable and uninterrupted power supply, significantly improving the overall learning environment. As a result, student attendance has improved, and there is a noticeable increase in students’ interest and engagement in school activities. This initiative has positively impacted a total of 710 students, contributing to better educational outcomes and promoting the use of clean and sustainable energy in rural educational institutions.3
